I bet if there was any way to come back, grampa would kick junior's butt around the block a couple of times.

Bought this from a young fellow who said it was his Grampa's. It is a 1909 in 35 Rem in pretty good shape for a 102 year old gun. I picked up a Model 8 that bubba got hold of, and in taking it down, I noticed it does not have a firing pin spring.
It dates to 1909. Did they even use the spring in the early ones? The firing pin looks different than the one in my 81.
