countless hours of fun with those three! Which one is your favorite? I havent shot any of them (8's) yet, sorry ... I'm still fairly new to these and since the ammo is so expensive (and I'm not a reloader) , Im kind of waiting for cheap ammo to fall out of the sky. Well not really, but I have a bun...

And here are my Model 8's

Top one is from 1910 and in 25 Rem. The second is from 1922 and is in .30 Rem as is the last one from 1929

My two 81's

My two 81's in .300 Savage. The top one is from 1948 and has a Redfield Sight (I need an aperture?). The lower is 1941 and a great shooter.

I bought another M81 today at the local gun show. This one is in .300 Savage, seems to be a 1949 model from the SN and UU date code. My other 81 is a 1950 in .30 Rem. Fairly new to long arms and started collecting / target shooting about 3 years ago. I have gotten involved in the 8's and 81's 1910 Model 8 in .25 Rem 1922. ". 8 in .30 Rem 1929. 8 in .30 Rem 1941. 81 in. 300 Sav 1948. 81. In .300 Sav Beautiful rifles, now where do I get ammo for the 1st three....
