Re: .32 Remington cast bullet, Ideal #321317
It is definitely a good design! 1.5" at 50 yds with 11 gr of Unique(does not cycle action) and 2" at 50 with a 34gr Leverevolution full power test load. Even better was it cleaned up with one wet and one dry patch after 50 rounds (I was testing a 105gr load as well). No more buying, or fin...

.32 Remington cast bullet, Ideal #321317
I have been having a ball loading and shooting cast bullets lately and Tom at Accurate Molds made a design inspired by the Ideal #321317 designed specifically for the .32 Remington Autoloader. It is inspired by that mold since there must be a flat nose for his equipment. There are not to many option...

It is my understanding these dies were first offered in the '50-'60s, but not sure how long they were made(at least the '70s). I decided to put it on my .25 Rem since it is the most fun to shoot, but I have trouble with the sight picture on the factory open sights. I came across this when downloading the freebies on Cornell Publications website. It is pretty interesting if a bit short. Re: hoter ammo
I would ask what pressure they are loading for in their hot .35 Rem. If it is lower or the same as the .300 Savage, then it should handle the pressures fine. I would then wonder about battering the receiver with hot and heavy loads. In my M81 the Hornady Leverevolution .35 Rem is a tad hotter than i...

Would it cycle the action with .22 bullets? You might need heavy for caliber bullets. If the .25 Rem can have issues with light <100gr bullets with its lighter spring, then your plan to have the gunsmith test it might be best. It is also a higher pressure round, 53k MAP.
