my bore is very good. not new but very good for a rifle that is well over 100 years old. it shoots 85gr. nosler BT or 117gr. Hornaday RN great! I have it zeroed with the 117gr. and varget powder. with the 85gr I was using #3031

Re: my little 25-35
well the way I looked at it I had nothing to loose and everything to gain. it was ugly with no bluing left at all. and the process to remove the dent I made up, I never heard of it being done like that but it worked perfect! I love bringing old things back to life to live again, here is a model 14 I...

Re: my little 25-35
no it's not the original blue. I found the rifle about 10 years ago in a gun shop. it was pretty much in the white. but it had no rust and tight as a tick, just no bluing left and the wood was faded out but in good shape. it had one huge dent in the barrel jacket. I took it and dismantled it, I took...

I would Cam but to be honest I think he is not trying to be truthful. I mean he told me he sold one just like it with the same checkering pattern 2 months ago, come on what is the odds he has ever had two with checkering much less two with that pattern. he can keep it,,,,,,,,,,,,

yes sir that is what I wanted. one of my rifles dates to 1927 and it dose not have the drilled jacket. but according to what the book says it should, hum, very curious. I don't think it was altered with another jacket, as I bought that gun from an old lady in California. the gun belonged to her dad ...

very nice, don't be fooled by "the modern calibers" the old 32 is just as potent and has all the knock power a 30-30 will ever have. I have killed several deer with mine and most fall on the spot. I use cast lead and the speer sp. with imr 4895
