Model 81 Serial number Barrel-Receiver question
Hello there, I just picked up a Model 81 and had questions on the serial numbers and chamberings. The serial number on the reciever is 74XX which I think is a 1939 number. Here is the crux- the barrel is 300 savage with three digits -491- and the code is RSS which is Nov 1947. Pretty sure it is a pa...
