Found it at a gunshow this summer..guy GAVE it to me. I felt like I should BUY something from him for being so nice, and bought a couple of Western (Boulder Co, USA) knives off his table.

I've got three stripped lowers. Bought em as blems. Around $40 each. Figured it would be prudent to build at least a couple of em up before the next panic. Bought a CDNN complete carbine kit w/stainless 1-8 barrel for $429. Shoots well.

Was privileged to see and handle briefly a model 81 with Los Angeles County Sheriff Dept engraved on the receiver and a detachable 15 rd magazine at a gunshow in Coure D Alene Idaho a month ago. Cool! Not for sale, although the owner had a standing offer for $6000 for it.

I found that Austrailian NATO 7.62x51. (308) stripper clips work great with 35 Remington in my model 81.. Worth a try.. Pitchy showed us the way.. Had a short vid on It..

Lucked on to 84 once fired, resized and cleaned 35 remington brass yesterday at a gun show..$20....bout broke my own wrist gettin' my wallet out!! There was one model 8 in 35 and a 141 pump gun in the same flavor..didn't have the moola.

Glad to be here..gonna try some hand loads with the 200 gr. Hornady FTX..gummy tip pointed tips..it sure likes the Rem. coreloct round nose..laid two touching each other on paper at 50 yds while sighting in the Williams Foolproof..made an adjustment and next range time will try her at 100..I usually...
