I have not shot it since. I am tooling up for .308 at the moment.

Jimii was good this year so Santa was better.
As soon as it warms up a little I will take it out again. I bought a Lead Sled.

Well, someone had to be the crash test dummy. "Fred" suggested I bed it with epoxy, which I did. Time will tell. I'll take it out in a few weeks and put a bunch more through it and see how it goes. (Need lead sled, says my shoulder) "Fred" made it so the posts that are the thread...

Re: Primers backing out
Just an update.
I loaded a bunch made by GRUMPA.
I shot 18 of them last weekend, along with a bunch of my reloads.
The GRUMPA loads, which I did not run through my sizing die, had zero primers back out.
I will try and match the shoulder to those cases made by GRUMPA.

Yes, off a bench, but next time I will be using a Lead Sled. All the bullets were Speer 170s. All primers were WLRs. Some had 31.5 gns. of 3031, the GRUMPA cases had 31.8 gns. COAL of 2.53. Mixed cases, but some (18 of them) were new made by GRUMPA that I bought over a year ago. None of his cases ha...

Fellow member "Fred" here made this for me to try. I think it is going to work. Got the laser bore sighter out and tweaked it right in. I may undo everything and bed it in as suggested. Angle is weird but the scope is just forward of the ejection port. 81 mount_1.jpg 81 Mount _2.jpg

Re: .32 reload questions
Ken,
I have the Redding dies.
Two die set.
Loading so far is OK just slower than I am used to.
I should set this up on my Dillon but I would have to resize/deprime/tumble first.
Once that is done, the single stage isn't that hard anyway.

Great bluing and wood.
It also came with 90 rounds of ammo, but I have since learned how to make it.

Roll or taper crimp? That is the big question.
I assume these head space like any auto, on the mouth, so taper crimp?

Live centers don't come on $400 lathes, at least I don't think they do?
It would spin, not spin, spin again, etc.

If not, I will try the die method, although I am not sure my chuck is big enough to take a die, but I will see.
Thanks
