I bought one this spring, in better shape then that for $499.95 at a gun store here in Michigan !!!

I picked up a model 8, made in 1926 at a gun show here in Michigan for 650.00, it cleaned up real good, and that is the going price here, oh 30rem and I load for it what fun I am having !!

I started hunting in 1958 and boy was there a lot of guns with a compass in the stock, all makes and models, little to big what ever size you liked !!

What you did is on my bucket list, that is a great deer and a great gun!!!!

Picked up some 30remington brass at a gun show, I could tell it was vary old, but when you fined it you buy it and hope for the best, good luck to you and keep on shooting !!!!

Well that's great, it is late doe season here in Michigan, I will take my 81 in 35 rem and my grandson to the woods we may not see a deer, but we sure have fun !!!

I now own a model 8 in 30rem so the dream is getting better and better !!!!

Adam Lee I was told that they would make a run of 32&25 later this year !!

One year when I was at deer camp with my dad [ i was to young to hunt] a guy showed up with a model 81 in 300sav he was big man in camp that year!!!

Well I will not be able to make it, but I am going to a gun show here in Michigan Friday it is not Tulsa but it should be fun !!!!
