Re: ADJUST LYMAN TANG SIGHT
Appears new (no box) but the blue is new looking and it is marked in very small letters AT under the base and an almost too small to see lyman under the knurled section on the base.

Re: ADJUST LYMAN TANG SIGHT
Many thanks I was afraid to apply too much force to try and turn the knurled stem part in fear that I was forcing something which was not intended to move.
Ive had it soaking overnight in Balistol so I will give a try to turn it.
Thanks again!

ADJUST LYMAN TANG SIGHT
Hi All
This may be a ROOKIE question but.......I just acquired a Lyman AT peep sight but cant seem to adjust it to be effective.
I don't want to force an adjustment but nothing seems tto move to get the stalk high enough to look over the "hump"
ANYTHING is welcome I feel so damn dumb!

Re: Bolt will not retract
If this "E" Grade is in good condition I think that the bolt is glued in place from dried up solvent, which turns into something similar to dried shellac. The only thin locking the bolt is the safety/rocker and if that moves the bolt should retract. I'd take the barrel assembly off and sp...

Re: Bolt will not move from closed
Can you release the barrel assy as in takedown? Is the safety up? Safety moves freely have not tried to "take-down" as in removal of the forearm and separate the barrel assembly. I did unscrew the forearm which seems not to move but have not tried to use any force to separate the two. Tru...
