I would check the website in the next few weeks. I was impressed by the descriptions given on the guns from the last auction. Most auction houses descriptions are lackluster, not the case with Wards. I'd advise against trying to contact Rem8&81 through the forum considering he hasn't signed on ...

I did see that residue of varnish on sides of butt plate and figured possibly they varnished it with butt plate in place ??? Any thoughts or definitely an added coat. It certainly wasn’t sanded !! All gussied up. Burnt the midnight oil finishing my thorough cleaning. 81Police- It certainly didn't give any trouble and upon full tear down, cleanup was relatively easy. I can still make two of these. I use a nut splitter tool and turn down the chisel to a pin that will fit in the hole of the barrel nut. It is adjustable and will work with all calibers.
