Thanks so much for the info. One other question, do the sights, Lyman or Marbles, also come with an " aperture" fitting also?

Tang Sight
All, I just purchased an .300 Savage 81 this weekend and am new to this forum. I'd like to put tang sight on mine much like the pix at the top of this URL. Can anybody pls help me zero in on what that would be? I did call Marble's in MI and they claimed one was not now made for the 81. Is one, or is...
