Not a Remington but the Stevens 425 lever action was also chambered for the 25 Remington rimless. Probably scarcer than any other rifle for the 25.

Re: Remington Model 25 in 25-20
Those Remington 25's are neat little rifles. Look more like a 22 RF and I think they are neater than a Winchester 92 or Marlin 94 in the same caliber. I got one in 32 WCF about 10 years ago and like it so much I just had ro get one in 25-20. Been working up cast bullet loads for it this winter. Got ...

Gamemaster, My Lyman manual #43 copyright 1964 shows 3031 with 117 gr. jacketed 21 gr. start load at 1930 fps and max 26 gr. at 2339 fps. Also lists 4064 23 gr. start and 27 gr. max and 4320 23 gr. start and 27 gr. max. Case length 2.050. I assume that is max length since no trim length is listed. C...

I checked my model 8 30 caliber. With a cleaning rod in from the muzzle and pushing the whole barrel and bolt assembly back it moves about 2.75 inches. 30-30 dies can be used to neck size 30 Remington cases. Not sure about full length resizing. Shoulder angles are different between 30-30 and 30 Remington. I have Redding dies for the 30 Remington so have never tried 30-30 dies for 30 Remington. You would need the 30 Remington shell holder.

A set of Model 8's each having a different barrel jacket markings would probably be hard to obtain. There are 10 or 11 different markings and the full set in each of the 4 Model 8 rifles would be a fantastic set.

Adam, You should try tweaking the oal for your reloads like Phyrbird says. I am always surprised when someone has feeding problems with flat nose bullets in a model14/141. Adam, Check the ammunition section on this site. Might help date your ammo. If before 1930 they might be corrosive primers. In that case clean the bore as if it was black powder.I don't know for sure when non-corrosive primers came into use but my fragile memory says late 1920's.
