Love it! Great photos!

I've looked at Model 30 Express rifles for years. I think they look so cool. I'd love one in 35 Remington.

Your setup is slick looking. Thanks for sharing this with us!

The COOLEST Police 81 Story! **

For many years my father owned a "Special Police" 81 formerly with the Nashville, TN Police Dept. This department didn't buy many of these, in fact we only have 3 known in the database. One day I'm contacted by a guy named Jimmy, and he tells me that his uncle served with the MNDP and he a...

Over the many years of collecting, shooting, and servicing Model 8 & 81's, I've amassed a decent assortment of barrel disassembly tools. Some of them homemade, some of them limited runs, some of them high quality factory reproductions, but this weekend I found the ultimate tool that's now my &qu...

Certainly, the quality of wood fell into various "grades" but there was variance there. And on that particular day, for this "C" grade, the assembler very possibly grabbed a higher grade wood than normal. However, of all the few 81C's I've seen, they all have exceptionally nice w...

The early 8's are my favorite. A lot of guys shoot modern Hornady LeverEvolution ammo. I've always personally shot Remington or Federal soft point ammo in mine. I think at this point, most people shoot what they can get their hands on.

Model 8 - Factory Checkered "A" Grade

This rifle, although with a tapped receiver, has a lot going for it. Was certainly a wealthy man's rifle once upon a time. The combination of expensive sights, the factory checkering, the sling eyelets. As cool as an A grade gets!
