This one could stump folks because it somewhat resembles factory patterns, especially the stock. But you're right, it's far back but the dead giveaway for me was the overall pattern & placement of the forearm. Never seen anything like that on a factory rifle. It's very tasteful though and better...

PMangenot, Your rifle brings the worldwide total (for our database) to 163 FN1900's. Congratulations on a very rare rifle whose numbers are dwindling. Many are in gun-unfriendly countries. Yours is 7th FN in our database located in France. The closest known number to yours is 4577 located in Canada

What's crazy is it's got a cut-down POE magazine.

C-grades are jawdroppers to me...yours is a beauty!

I checked some of my files and found a few flat-knob C grades as examples from collections and the web. I've never done a deep dive into this configuration but it's not common. As you can see some have cheeks and other don't.
