Have not had any issues with Remington Core-Lokt's feeding through my M81 in .300 Savage.
Am more partial to 150 grain and had nothing but good luck using them this past season.

I shoot factory Remington Core-Lokt's in 150 grain out of my .300 Savage with no problems.
In fact, dropped two deer this past season using them.

Ahh the trouble with date codes and serial numbers. Your serial number would indicate the year your receiver was manufactured , the date code would indicate when your rifle was assembled and shipped. "Assembled and shipped" in 1949 by the date code and the receiver "manufactured"...
