the tang sight is missing and so is the butt plate, it's the flat butt plate, straight stock, person i bought it from said his granddad got it new in 1907.
Where might i find a plate, or a replacement stock with a plate, and where might i find the sight?

Like many others before you, finding parts for these rifles can prove very difficult. If your rifle was mfg. in 1907 it originally came with a slightly semi-curved hard rubber buttplate. Reproductions of this buttplate can be found at the link below...
