Carl & Mitch - thanks. The Model 10 is currently representing the ugliest gun in the house award-winner.

That shorty 20" barrel on the Model 10 (as well as the mag tube) is from a parts set, somewhat older than the gun. I think the shotgun is 1913 or 1914 and the barrel is 1912.
Regardless, the wood is nice under the crud and the original blue is nice too - (not the parts barrel of course) - so it will clean up nice at some point.

My plan for all my shorty 20-21" barrels is to drill & tap to replace the original brass bead sights at the muzzle ends.

OK time for the honey-do stuff. Can't get away from it!
