Rephrasing this one.
Which do you like better and why?
Tang-mounted peep sights:
Marbles?
Lyman?
Redfield?
Williams?
Which do you like better and why?

I have a good number of both types. I think the Lyman sight is easier to adjust. But the Marbles sight stay put and stays adjusted better and longer. It's really a wash for me.

I'm partial to the Williams myself. I have one on my 81 and it still has the aperture. It is very precise and I like it.
I am the cat who walks by himself. And all places are alike to me.

I had read that story before during my (complete) reading of all hunting stories on the site.
I like the Hi Viz front sight and may have to get one (or several) of those myself.
Yes, if one is a site admin one should hunt with an 8 or 81!
Very nice rifle and kill.
