Part differences

There are 8 different parts in the model 8 rifles, as per the parts list in the manual for the model 8, part no. 2 action spring, pt #96 barrel jacket washer for 25's only, pt # 205 barrel nut washer, pt # 210 barrel nut, pt # 24 buffer spring, pt # 31 extractor, pt # 67 recoil spring, pt # 68 recoil spring case. Each of these parts had to be ordered for the specific caliber of the rifle, and you had to furnish the serial number, of the rifle. nowdays the parts suppliers, such as gunparts, have their own part numbers, the numbers i listed were remingtons numbers. So it seems that all other parts are the same , or will fit all caliber rifles.
