Went on a trip to Cave City, visited a local show in the convention center. In the window was our prevalent sign of our times.

I didn't feel like packing any trading material, my heel spurs and knees have been acting up. Made one trip down one aisle and had to find a chair, I was having a terrible time, everyone had the same stock from the last show.

Finally made it to the very back corner in the second hall....

Two, count em, two of our ladies almost hidden in the very back corner.

I thought to find a clunky side mount, Instead it was a STITH

YeeSSSS friends Jackitis had it's way with me; both came home to S Ky. What is even worse I parted with my FN A5 12 guage in trade

Of course the shotgun was refinished and probably had replacement lumber. A very nice auto5 with the prejudice of "Not a Browning"

So your author came home with 2 safe queens, a 30 Rem Model 81 with (I think) a weaver 2.5 in a 1" Stith mount, and a 300 Sav M81. At home they were found to have all the right numbers in the right places, matching serial #s. What a roller coaster ride. My heels have not forgiven me yet....
