Hey guys,
Some of you may have been following this auction on Gunbroker. But another m-8 just sold for $1450.00 this evening. I may have been right about the market turning a corner this winter. This rifle was in OK condition,at least as much as one could make out from the pics posted. But I wouldn't have considered this one as mint in condition. So I guess time will tell if this is a permanent upswing in the marketplace. Sorry, but I don't have the ability to post a link with my old tablet machine.
Thanks for your time,
Roger

One seller from California had two M-81s for sale on GB during the last two weeks -- both were mint condition rifles in .35 Rem WITH original boxes. One rifle sold for $1700 and the other for 1350.

I bought one this spring, in better shape then that for $499.95 at a gun store here in Michigan !!!

Re: Rem. m-8 on gunbroker
Doesn't look like a $1,450.00 Model 8 to me. My brother and me searched the net trying to get a feel for current prices and like most listings there seems to be no set pattern. Four and five hundred dollar guns generally sell in that price range, but any Model 8 or 81 in better condition sells anywhere between 600 and 1K. I saw a closed listing on GB where one, an 81 IIRC, sold for like $999.00, and the condition did not justify it IMO.
I have two for sale maybe I need to raise my price!
