Hello!! If the spring broke off the barrel lock from my Model 81, can I easily insert a new spring without buying a new lock too? How is this done? What holds it in place? I notice some of the springs for sale don't have the curled eyelet end that inserts into the lock. Are those broken?
If someone has an extra spring - I am a buyer!! Email me at tberkoff@gmail.com
Thanks in advance.

Re: Barrel lock spring question
Hello Todd, Here's a link to a complete barrel lock & barrel lock spring assembly that we recently sold.
Regarding what to look for and how to install the spring...The pictures in the auction will show you the correct orientation of the barrel lock spring, for installation.

Bob,
It's great the detail you put in your photos for GB.
However, the sold pages on Broker expire.
Our members really appreciate your input as well. I would suggest a couple of the better photos here on the forum or a link to those already here. This is exactly the type of things we need to help others with.....
Thanks

Re: Barrel lock spring question
Thanks all for the help. I am replacing the spring. I barely touched it while cleaning it and it broke in two. Guess it was in bad shape.
