WTB Model 81 Made in 1943

Howdy Y'All,

This is probably the strangest Want To Buy that has been posted. I am getting sentimental with some of my acquistions and I am looking for any caliber Remington Model 81 manufactured in 1943. This was the year I was born and I think it would be great if I had a rifle that was made the year I was born. If it were made in January of 1943 that would be even better.

If any of you members or guests would have a Model 81 manufactured in 1943, I would appreciate hearing from you and the information about your rifle. According to the book, only 4 Model 81's were manufactured in 1943 and only 115 were manufactured in 1944 (wartime restrictions). If anyone could find a needle in a haystack it's Jack!
