I had done some research on this fun after seeing it in my local gun store a couple months ago. After haggling a bit on price, i settled on what I thought was a fair deal and jumped. It's a 1915 model 8, standard grade, nothing fancy. Came with a full box of .30 Remington. Found more .30 Remington today online as well.
Looks to be all original. Bluing has worn off as expected for a 101 year old gun. Stock appears to be fine. Anyway, any tips on .30 Remington ammo would be welcomed, I assume it's just hunt and seek as far as that goes. I'm watching videos on disassembly before I attempt anything further than the take down procedure.
