Newbie
Hello everyone . Just stumbled across the page. I inherited a 300 savage when I was around 6 years old. I was handed to me by great aunt after my great uncle passed away. I carry his first name as my middle name and she wanted me to have it. I was just a boy and didn't realize what I was handed at the time . As time went on dad allowed me to carry it to the deer leases we were on trying to find out a little information about it.Back then the Internet wasn't a big thing. We met a guy that fell in love with the appearance and spent many hrs reading books trying to find information on it. I've seen a couple of these in person but never one decked out like this one. If read several write ups on the Internet about these guns but still have not found one like this one. If there is anybody that could give me more information about it I would greatly appriciate it.

OOOO
Pretty Lady.
I don't think the engraving is Rem original, but WOW, it is very tasteful. The scope & mount really sets it off. My compliments, a Great 81. Know you have inherited a treasure.
Is that nickel plating I see?
PS I know our members would like more Pics detailing the work.
