I am in need of the rear sight mounting block with the female threads protruding through the jacket for centering and attaching the rear sight and is permanently mounted. If I can find a jacket for parts is it soldered or are the threaded extensions mashed a little, forming a press fit. At this point, if i can find one, the mounting block can be slid up to the holes, insert screws and if needed, put a dab of JB Weld on.
ANY OTHER IDEAS???

Bumpity bump. What does this piece actually even look like? Someone buggered the one on my rifle, and it seems to be a single piece.

It's a small bar with the 2 threaded holes that fits the holes in the bbl sleeve.
