Engraved 81's D-E-F

Post by Hibby83 »

Howdy gents.

S&S Huntclub, 54Bullseye and myself had a meet & greet this weekend. I had a great time with these gentleman talking shop about guns, life and all in-between.

I brought up a couple autoloading rifles to look at but seeing his high grades along with Brenda's cooking was the highlight.

Anyways, here's John Taylor, Bob Pajtas and myself along with the high grade 81's.

Without a doubt, one of the coolest posts I've seen on the forums in a long time! Talk about eye candy over here!  :o :D I'm drooling!

What a rare moment to have those 3 grades of ultra rare 81's altogether. Like a family reunion, haha.

As y'all set them beside one another, I'm curious if there was any observations that stood out to you looking at all 3?

The amount of human labor in those 3 guns is crazy. They're all works of art.

Glad y'all got to connect. So good to see my man Bob in there!

Well I just want to thank both Luke and Bob for coming from long distances for a great 3 day lesson on model 8s and 81s !! Both those guys are a wealth of knowledge on the spring poles . I think a good time was had by all as we never ran out of things to talk about. A little horse trading went on. My girl Brenda kept us fed really good and my 7 dogs kept us entertained  Mornings were spent out side with cool temps and a nice breeze but it got hot every day so into the AC.

I thank both Luke and Bob for the visit I had a great time !!! John Taylor

John you and Brenda are great hosts. Really appreciate having me up. Happy that I got to me Bob, he sure knows his stuff.

Howdy Cam.

To answer your question, i can't really say that I was looking for big differences outside the obvious. The D Grade is a real attention grabber! The fit, finish and engraving is PEERLESS*.HA

Anyway, the E grade and the F are sights to behold also. Definitely some eye candy in that bunch.

An insane amount of time went into the production of those 3 rifles!

John, you and Brenda are great hosts. Really appreciate welcoming me up again Sure happy that I got to meet Bob, he sure knows his stuff!
