Another incredible portion of the Ahlberg collection is up for sale with Ward's auctions. Here is your chance to get some really rare 8/81/FN's. A few highlights from lots 4180-4205...

** ULTRA Rare - Model 8, U.S. Army "Trials Rifle".25 Rem Cal, MFG. 1920, SN: 45616. One of only 25 Trials Rifles. And one of only 8 this website has recorded in collections today.

** Model 81 F.B.I. issue

** FN 1900 w/out rib. The rarer of the two types of FN's.

** Model 8 "D" grade

** Model 81 "B" grade

** Model 8 "C" grade

Yes, they went for lower than expected for sure. But, remember the 18% buyer's premium has to be added in. That is not an insignificant amount.

What Dan said.^
Plus you factor in state tax, tack on another 3.5-5% "depending on auction" if you pay with card, shipping & handling. Easy to be atleast 25% on top of hammer price, or more.
