629-1. Purchased it new in 1983 if I remember correctly. Non pined barrel and chambers are not recessed like the very first ones. Had it tapped back in the 90’s for a red dot and might be putting on a new style one soon. Burris fast fire 3’s are going pretty cheap these days and I know that I can hit a lot better with one on it.

You bought it the year year I was born. The red dots of today are much more aestically pleasing than those of the 90's.
I haven't taken game with a revolver yet, only dispatching furbearers on the trap-line.
