Trade-81 rear sight for 8 rear sight

Howdy gents.

I'm looking for Model 8 rear sights. I'm also looking for the rear sight slide adjuster "if you happen to have a damaged sight" not the stepped elevator.

Pictured are 2 nice examples up for trade. I'm also up for purchasing outright.

Here's the other piece "slide adjuster" that I'm looking for.

One pictured appears to have been filed some, has rough edges, and a little piece missing on one side. I'm looking to replace with a nicer* flat plate for my early stamped sight for my first year gun.

Those could be Williams or Marbles sights, Remington was notorious for "borrowing" other sights. They might still have the same parts around...
See some of the old sight PDFs referenced on this site, somewhere I've lots downloaded over the years. We used to have images of the various sights & scope mounts here too. Been missing them for a while, may be gone....

I'm looking to trade my factory Remington Model 81 rear sights for factory Model 8 sights.

The Model 8 rear sight has the little flat adjustment plate at the rear that the 81 rear sight doesn't.

I'm trying to make rifles as factory correct as I can.

Luke I know I've got one of those sights, Unfortunately I also know it's been filed out with a square side & V. Not much help for your needs.

I have a nice Kings barrel sight if you'd want to trade for it. I really like the sight picture of the 81 rear sight. Its in great shape.

I have the correct step elevators that goes with 81 sights I figured if I was trading for equal condition 8 rear sight, it was easier to keep my elevator.
