WTB: Model 81 .35 Remington

Hello everyone,

I came across an article in an old Guns and Ammo on the Model 81, and was extremely impressed with the rifle. I am seriously considering purchasing one to use as a hunting rifle. I'm looking for one chambered in .35 Remington that has been well maintained, mechanically sound and has not been modified or " bubba-ed" . I appreciate the help.

The Model 8 in .35 Remington would be a nice woods gun, but I wouldn't pass on a Model 81 in 300 Savage.

Found one!

I went to a small local shop to fill out the paper work for a transfer the gentleman was doing for me. I told him I was in search of a Model 81 in .35 Remington. He walked in the back and came out with one. Will post pics when I pick it up.
