WTB M81 barrel sling screw

If you’re talking about the forearm mounting screw, I don’t think these were ever intended for a sling. It was a way to make it a thumb screw. More knowledgeable members can correct me.

No Doc, it's for the D&T hole about 6 inches ahead of the forearm on the sleave, like this from the Woodall collection ad. PAX

I really don't know but I think it may have been, since some M8s and all M81s are so tapped. PAX

A lot of the POEs were set up with these, they are a basic screw in ring for a hook mount sling. I think it was called a Winchester hook sling.

You are looking for a set "front screw in shroud and rear screw in buttstock?" Traditional or fish hook type stud/swivel?
