I am a dealer (obviously) and have always loved the Model 8. Don't know why, it's kinda ugly, but it has always been a dear rifle to me. I am also a 35 Rem fan as well, so it is just a natural fit.
I will post pics of my 1st year production 8 in 35 Rem with a take down wooden case, a couple stripper clips, and a peep sight just as soon as I get some snapped for you guys. Not sure I want to sell it, but I am certain I want to show the old girl off!
Nice reading around here, and thanks for having me

Re: Hi Guys
I'm sure you will provide an interesting perspective as a dealer and shooter. Welcome to the ugly 8s club.
Though defensive violence will always be “a sad necessity” in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men. - St. Augustine

Hey Eric,
Welcome aboard. I echo imfuncity's remarks. I'll be ready to see the take down box. I also have a first year, possible first day production. We will have to compare rifles!
