Eyes wide shut ....

Post by rem81auto »

Bought this 1909 C Grade this past weekend ... no mask this time Mitch but I think I paid more than enough. The rifle has been redone front to back. I would not normally buy a redo but it was in 25-35 Rem. I am thinking it might be fun to shoot... we'll see soon. Dennis

Now that is a really nice find. You'll be proud of that one for a long time. I love the looks of that gun...and in .25-35 too. Wow!

Indeed. The savings on the others where but to good use on this one. Glad I don't have to compete against you in my area (but then I haven't seen but one for sale in over a year and that was a "parts gun").

As an aside: Too bad they weren't 25-35Win I do enjoy that cartridge too and can even find those still for sale.

You said it's redone but it looks like whomever did a great job! Looks like the stock still has sharp cheeks. That'll be a real fun gun to shoot.

I have to admit that unfortunately my pictures make the reblue job better than it is in hand. The wood refinish and checkering aren't bad. Dennis

Well Dennis, at least they didn't blue the operating handle, you see that all the time.
