An amazing find, while you are there get two - one for me too

Though defensive violence will always be “a sad necessity” in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men. - St. Augustine
Re: Remington 51 in box
I'd buy it in an instant only because there's nothing quicker than an instant. The Model 51 is my favorite pistol, and I have two of them. There are three different minor variations and two different calibers (.380 and .32). The design principle, which is partially locked breech and partially blowback, is unique to the Model 51. Back in WWI, there was a .45 ACP pistol of the same basic design and appearance, called the Model 53, made by Remington that was nearly adopted by the US Navy. George S. Patton had a Model 51, and there is an interesting story behind his, which you can find at http://unblinkingeye.com/Guns/Rem51/rem51.html. I don't believe it was the one he used to shoot at the German bomber as shown in the movie as he got his Model 51 later. Patton had a fairly large number of handguns he must have carried around with him. Too bad they don't make 'em like him anymore.
