I need a for end stock and swivel screw for a 1911 Model 8, non schnabled (spelling?) if possible. I am trying to replace the one that my blind father through in the fire. I ordered one through my local gun dealer, but it turned out to be for an 81. It doesn't have to perfect, some use wear is OK, just no cracks and chips. I plan on using a finishing oil for the finish.
In fact, I would take two if they were available.
I have a pretty nice for end for an 81, if anyone is interested. (No screw)

Re: Help with Model 8 for end.
New to site. I inherited my great grandfathers Model 8 - 35 Cal. Ser. number places it at 1911. It needs a for end and screw. Butt is plain not engraved. Not looking for anything fancy, just something to make rifle complete. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
