Carrying on the Traditon
Carrying on the Traditon
Continuing the tradition my Dad and Grandpa started before WWII. My dad bought a model 8 rem before entering WWII in 1944, and then upon my dad's return my Grandpa bought one also. I have been carrying my Grandpa's model 8 in the field deer hunting in northern Michigan for the past 38 years. My father is still hanging on at 87 but has not been able to hunt for years. I love my Remington model 8's!

drogte,
First off welcome to the forums, we're glad to have you!
It's families like yours that are fascinating to me, those that have a long history of serious field use of these rifles. No wonder you like the Remington Model 8 so much! I will say, your father and grandfather have good choice in rifles
