You found a keeper for sure. :o Just missed one of these on 24hr camp fire a while back. Now that you are in, you can do a search and find a discussion here regarding cases earilier this year. BTW, welcome aboard.

TX357 - that is a very fine case! Unfortunately I don't know much about the original cases but I do know several members have them. Hopefully they will chime in.

Sorry about that, I can't find it either. I'm sure one of these days a member that was involved in the discussion will help us out.

Yours sure looks good, great job your Dad snagging it - they are worth a bit last I heard, even the stripper clip.

I have owned 4 in the last few yrs I have been interested in 8's & 81's. The cases are out there but not easy to find especially in usable condition. I believe several makers made cases for Rem auto's. I do not have one marked Redhead though.... nice find tx357. DennisImage
