Another newbie
Stumbled across this site a while a go and decided to join. The site has been a great help with info on my two rifles. A 1935 model 8 in .30 remington and a 1950 model 81 in .300 savage. both are familiy guns, the .30 was grandpas and the .300 my dads. both bought new and I have the Remington catalog that the .30 was ordered from. I love hearing how much these rifles are appreciated out there.

Welcome to the site! It's always so cool to hear about guys who've still got their family owned 8's and 81's. I think that is really something special, hang on to them!

Welcome and don't stop on the back stories, indeed we love to hear about them.
