8/81's in odd calibers?

Out of curiosity, have y'all ever seen (or own) an 8 or 81 in a non factory caliber?
John Henwood mentions seeing a few in 250-3000Sav.

Howdy,
Yep, I got an odd one. It is a 22-250. I need to have the .300 Sav removed and put the right caliber on it. I think packmule told me that the .300 barrel probably had been removed and the 22-250 was put in it's place. I have wondered how it would shoot.
