Hellos from Mississippi! Ive been collecting guns for some time but new to the model 8/81. Picked up my first one Thursday at auction and man what a rifle. She's in 300 Sav., and now I wish I would of gotten the 35 to go with it. It hasnt been thru bubba's shop and appears to be original with exception of rear sight. I dont know what kind of sight is on it but it is definitely a cheap one. Anyways, on the lookout and looking forward to learning more about this fantastic piece.
