I am trying to find a 1917 Model 8 to replace one in my collection. It can be in any caliber and would like for it not to have a repair code. I would be willing to trade another Remington model 8 or 81 for a rifle that is in good conditon or I can buy outright. Any assistance will be appreciated.

The search fot the 1917 is over. I finally found a good one and the price was a little higher than expected but it was what I was looking to upgrade. It comes from Idaho. Thanks to everyone who was looking for me.

I will now have to post another wish list involving some barrel codes and serial numbers. I think I would like to find 7 or 8 to refine the collection. After that, I wll start looking for......?
