Fellas, What might be a cause for my model 8 not locking open after pulling the bolt all the way back? The weapon cocks and fires when with the bolt is forward and closed. It is a 25 cal I think is worth saving. I recall this subject coming up before here but unable to find the posts. Many thanks for any responses. --OTH

When you pull it apart I suspect you will find a broken or badly worn bolt carrier lock.Hopefully that is it as they are available through e-gunparts (Numrich) for less than $10. Refer to the excellent link of the takedown of the receiver that was posted by Jonbegood on this site. You can refer to the schematic on e-gunparts to get and idea of what the part should look like.
