Anybody reloading with Hornady's FTX bullets?

I was checking out what bullets are available in .32 Remington and found these are available in .32 and .35 sizes. It is the bullet they use in the LEVERevolution ammo. A lot better BC than the Hornady flat nose and slightly better than Speer's for the .32. They even have the load data for the .35 Remington using the FTX bullet on Hornady's site, if someone else wants to try it.

Well if anybody does in the future, here are some pics comparing it to a vintage .32 Remington 170 gr plated flat point bullet. Crimp groove is the right place to keep OAL correct. Strange thing is Hornady said to use .32 Win Special loading data they sent me, but .32 Rem is usually a grain or 2 less and the FTX looks to take up more case capacity.

Most, if not all, older reloading manuals recommended identical loading data for both Win and Rem versions of essentially identical cartridges (25, 30, .32). The greater protrusion of the longer bullet into the case is not likely to materially affect chamber pressures. In fact, I have an article somewhere that presented lab data stating that if anything, it will REDUCE peak chamber pressure to seat a bullet more deeply. Go figure. I notice the latest Hornady reloading handbook makes the same statement, but without chamber pressure data to support it. I suspect they do have the data.

I think the .35 Rem LeveRevolution round is a little different, as the case neck is shorter than standard, and the bullet cannelure is set back further.
