Random model 8 question.

If anyone has a measuring device and a model 8 handy I would appreciate a measurement from the top tang to the top of the receiver.
Its 1 1/8 inch closest to receiver and 2 3/8 at the end of the tang Measurements to straight edge on top of receiver.
