Jackitis affliction

thanks for posting these Mitch. When I look at that first picture I say to myself, "man these are some cool looking guns". Those 7 have definitely found a good home

Hey Guys,
Another big THANK YOU to imfuncity for posting the pictures. I give everybody the message, show some pictures so I thought maybe I should return the favor. I do enjoy seeing the pictures y'all send and it helps to see different rifles.
There is nothing pecular about the seven rifles. There are two that are upgrades to my collection and you may have seen my postings about trying to find a 1917 and a 1930. I was finally able to find these two and now I am on to something else yet to be determined.
The other five rifles came as a package deal. A very nice gentleman had called asking for assistance in identifing some old guns and I obliged. The pictures of the rifles led me to the phrase "roaming the range". They were the roughest looking rifles that I have ever seen. They had not seen the light of day for over 50 years and they showed it.The good news-bad news of this story is that I didn't want or need these rifles so I submitted a very, very low offer on the rifles when the man asked if I would submit an offer. I felt so confident the gentleman would say "Thanks, but no thanks". You could have knocked me over when he said I want to thank you for your assistance and you can have the rifles.
This brought about the comment "at home in the stable".
The TLC will come this winter and I hope to make the "stallions" look a little better come spring. I hope y'all enjoy the pictures. The "jackitis" is in remission for now.
