Just an update on humpbacks. I just read there is a new book out on the Browning A-5 that also discusses the Remington M11 to some degree. It's BROWNING AUTO-5 SHOTGUNS, by H. M. On a side note Browning is bringing out a shotgun they call the new A5 "humpback". It looks vaguely similar to the original Auto-5 and they are really keying off the name for marketing. Although it's got the name A5 it's not a long recoil design, it's actually a short recoil very similar to Benelli's inertia system, i.e. no recoiling barrel.
