I know nothing about the gun or the seller but thought I would pass it along. He has another one with reserve.

The serial number is only 100 away from my own rifle. If the wife had a sense of humor I would compete for it.

I hear ya western! Im down sizing my collection to finance a wedding down the road. Hopefully ill get a allowance to be able to replace the model 8's I parted with

Hey Guys,

For what it is worth and I might be wrong, but that forearm doesn't look like a Schnable forearm to me. :? The forearm screw is also incorrect. It has more of the charterstics of a model 81 forearm. I have a couple of this style forearm on the late model 8's that have the pistol grip that looks like the model 81 stock. The rifle certainly needs a home where it can mingle with its counterparts. ;)
