Hello everyone, I just wanted to post a picture of my Model 8 and my newly acquired Model 141 Gamemaster. I received the Model 8 for Christmas 2011 from my fiance' and it is a real beauty. It was manufactured in 1928 and is chambered in .30 Remington. I just bought the 141 Gamemaster this past Saturday. It was manufactured in 1940 and is also chambered in .30 Remington. I think they make a nice looking pair. I love these vintage rifles. Have a great day. Big Dooley.

Big dooley, congrats on a really nice pair of old Remington. I don't have any m-141 s, but I do have 2 m-14 s. One in 30 rem.one in35 rem. The 35 is in better shape of the two. I used the 35 during late does -only season here in iowa last winter, but couldn't hit anything with it despite plenty of bench time.So I don't shoot them much. But I am sure it's just me,not the rifle.
Do enjoy your rifles ,cause they're alot of fun. Good luck at the range and hunting afield!!
Thanks for your time,
Roger

LOL! Just picked up a M81 in 300 Savage. More because I wanted a 300 Savage - and Sav 99s in good shape are high! - so the 81 was my ticket...

Also think a 14/141 would be way cool. Want one in 35 Rem - even tho I have a Marlin 336 in 35 Rem. Hopefully soon I can have a pic like yours of both!
