Hi my name is Scot. Currently not an owner of an 8 or 81, but have decided that i need one. Anyway the question is about a model 8 stamped 25-35 REM. Researching this has not gone well for me, so any info would be greatly appreciated. When i get my ''new'' rifle in hand the pics will be posted as soon as i get through shooting.

Welcome to the additiction and congrats on your first of several. Plus starting with the hardest to find and most valuable, way-cool! We look forward to seeing the pics.

You can do a search here regarding the 25-35, you'll see most of us have ask this question at one point or another. Short version: it is really a 25Rem - almost the same as the Win 25-35 but no rim, etc. but the 25-35 loading data can be used to roll your own.
